Cold season is getting ready to kick into high gear and with so many medicines lining the shelves; it’s hard to know the best options for treating your cold. And what medicine is safe to use for your baby’s stuffy nose?
On Wednesday, October 22 at 7 p.m., Oakland County pharmacists will provide information about the benefits, risks, and safe use of over-the-counter (OTC) products for the prevention and treatment of coughs, colds, and allergies at the Rochester Hills Public Library. Learn how to check OTC product labels to choose safe products and doses for you, your children and the elderly. Know the questions you should ask your pharmacist before purchasing a non-prescription product. This presentation will be followed by time for one-on-one discussions with pharmacists from the Oakland County Pharmacists Association.
Registration is required and open to those with a Rochester Hills Public library card. To register go to the Events Calendar at www.rhpl.org or call 248-656-2900.
The Rochester Hills Public Library is located in downtown Rochester, two blocks east of Main Street off of University Drive on Olde Towne Road. For more information, call 248-650-7124.
