Oakland Township Safety Paths and Trails Committee Vacancy

The Safety Paths and Trails Committee (SPTC) was established in 2007 to make recommendations to the Board of Trustees concerning planning, analysis, and implementation of a township-wide trail system. Composed of township officials and residents, the SPTC holds regular meetings to establish criteria to aide in the selection of potential projects. Working with engineering consultants, they consider path location, design, cost, and secure necessary easements.

Meetings are held the first Wednesday of the month at 5:30 p.m. with a per diem of $70 per meeting.

For more information on the Safety Paths and Trails Committee, CLICK HERE. To apply for the open position, fill out an application, and return in person or by mail to Township Hall 4393 Collins Rd. Rochester, MI 48306 or by email to cwahnefried@oaklandtownship.org by June 4.
