Translated by Curt Columbus and directed by Lynnae Lehfeldt, the action in this slice-of-life drama set in the Russian countryside at the end of the 19th century revolves around the play’s dissatisfied characters’ romantic and artistic conflicts. Some desire love. Some desire success. Some desire artistic genius. No one, however, ever seems to attain happiness. Considered one of the 100 most important plays of all time, Seagull is the first of the four major plays of Anton Chekhov.

Tickets are $8 for students and 10 a.m. matinee and $15 for the general public. Purchase tickets at StarTickets.com.
