The Crash Reconstruction Unit is investigating a fatal vehicle/pedestrian crash that occurred on west bound Auburn, west of Goldfinch in the City of Rochester Hills. The crash occurred at about 6:14 a.m. this morning.
Ms. Young Eun Homrich, a 68-year-old, Rochester Hills resident, was killed this morning when she was struck while attempting to cross Auburn Road from north to south from the area of Goldfinch.
Ms. Homrich was struck by two west bound vehicles, a 2002 Saturn SL2, operated by a 36-year-old, Romeo resident and a 2002 Buick Lesabre, operated by a 44-year-old, Brown City resident.
Ms. Homrich was pronounced dead on scene. The drivers of the vehicles involved were not injured and were wearing seat belts.
Alcohol is not believed to have been a factor. The crash remains under investigation.
