Once Upon a Time in Downtown Rochester…

Prepare to step into a world of enchantment as your best-loved Fairy Tale characters come to life. Downtown Rochester’s third annual Rochester Posed event is scheduled for Thursday, October 1 from 6 – 8 pm. Participating Downtown Rochester businesses will turn their storefront windows into live mannequin displays. This year’s theme for Rochester Posed is Fairy Tales, including timeless favorites such as Sleeping Beauty and Hansel and Gretel.

Posed Logo Final_darker“This is a must see event that appeals to people of all ages,” said Nancy Voges, Marketing Coordinator of the Rochester Downtown Development Authority. “The participating businesses put a lot of time and creative effort into making their windows come alive.

Enjoy a night of strolling, shopping, dining, and live mannequins. Twenty businesses will participate in Rochester Posed. Each business will depict a different fairy tale using live mannequins in their storefront windows. Live mannequins will be revealed at 6 p.m. and will remain posed until 8 p.m.
