Remember the Scavenger Hunt?
Operation Yellow Ribbon – an all-volunteer 501c3 charity – is hosting an event on Saturday, July 22 that promises to be a lot of fun for families and friends alike. Participants will hop in their vehicles or on their motorcycles and solve puzzles to guide them to the next destination in Rochester Hills and Shelby Township. Instead of picking up a trinket, they will collect a playing card. As you might guess, some of the destinations are military related.
Poker Run Fundraiser
The teams will collect seven cards in all, and choose their best five cards for their poker hand to compete with the other team players. Four prizes in all: Two for best poker hand and two for best times running the course.
At the end of the poker run, teams will find their last destination, where a full taco bar will be offered, along with beverages. The cost is only $15.00 each. Reservations must be called in by July 14. Call Peggy Ann Kralik at 248-425-2722.
