Davis, the passionate store manager of the Orvis Oakland County store in Royal Oak, previously worked for the Clinton River Watershed Council and wrote An Angler’s Guide to Paint Creek, a book on one of southeast Michigan’s best trout fisheries. He serves as President of the Clinton Valley Chapter of Trout Unlimited.

The July 28 demonstration will showcase another popular recreational activity afforded users of the 16-mile Clinton River Trail (CRT), which is celebrating its 15th anniversary throughout 2019. There is no cost to attend. Commemorative Clinton River Trail mix will be provided to guests.

Parking is free for cars at the campus located at 800 W. Avon Road just east of Livernois in Rochester Hills. Bikers and hikers can access the site from the trail. There is construction taking place adjacent to the lake site.
