Patterson to Celebrate Milestone with Emerging Sectors® Companies as Program Passes $2 Billion in Total Investment

Oakland County Executive L. Brooks Patterson is hosting an event on Tuesday, June 18, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. in celebration of the Emerging Sectors® companies generating more than $2 billion of investment in Oakland County. These are companies who are diversifying the economy by shifting from manufacturing to knowledge-based. This is an invitation-only event for the company leaders, members of the Oakland County Business Roundtable, Consuls General Corps and selected other invitees. More than 500 people are expected to attend. Each of the 220 Emerging Sectors companies will receive a gift created especially for the event.

It is sponsored by Miller Canfield, Level One Bank, Clayton & McKervey, ITC Holdings Inc., Automation Alley, the Oakland County Business Finance Corp.,The Palace of Auburn Hills and hosted by Oakland County.

This event will take place at The Palace of Auburn Hills, 6 Championship Drive in Auburn Hills. Use the West Parking Lot and enter through the West Atrium and head to the arena floor. A 30-minute program will begin at 7:00 p.m.
