Oakland County Executive L. Brooks Patterson will make a major announcement that will impact a majority of Oakland County businesses, residents, and those who visit the county. His 2016 State of the County address at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 10, 2016 (Seating begins at 6:30 p.m.), will take place at the Auburn Hills Marriott Pontiac, 3600 Centerpoint Parkway, near Opdyke and Square Lake roads in Pontiac.

He also will focus on how Oakland County is reinvesting for sustainability because of the county’s deep dive into the knowledge-based economy and balanced multi-year budget.
Patterson will make his State of the County address available to the widest audience possible. WDET-FM (101.9) will air the speech live. The speech will be live streamed on the county’s website, OakGov.com. It will be uploaded live to the county’s YouTube channel as well. There will be live tweets about speech highlights on the county’s Twitter account, @OakGov. Digital copies of the typewritten speech will be available afterward at OakGov.com/exec and the Executive Office Facebook page. Civic Center TV will carry the speech live as well as distribute it to other local cable channels for re-airing throughout February.
