On Thursday, February 14, the Rochester Hills Public Library (RHPL) will be hosting a special seminar on saving for retirement with Rick Bloom.
Bloom has worked in financial planning since 1984 and is a partner at Bloom Asset Management and the law firm of Bloom, Bloom & Associates. In 2015 Barron’s magazine named Bloom one of the Top Financial Advisors in the United States.
“It’s never too early to start thinking about retirement,” said Bloom. “With people living longer these days, it is vital to have a retirement savings plan that will enable you to live comfortably in retirement.”
“We want to give our patrons opportunities for lifelong learning in all arenas. Preparing them with information about saving for retirement is very important to us, and we’re excited to have Rick Bloom here to share his expertise with our community,” said Community Relations Specialist Amanda Harrison Keighley.
The program is February 14 from 7:00-8:30 p.m. in the Multipurpose Room and is open to everyone with an RHPL library card. This program is geared toward adults but all ages are welcome. Please register in advance at rhpl.org.
