“Pride in Excellence” is the Slogan of the New Logo for Rochester Community Schools

“The new logo better identifies us as a school community. We’ve incorporated the traditional burgundy color, but gave the image a more modern look. With all the technology and infrastructure improvements taking place within the district due to the bond efforts, the timing is right to enhance our visual identity as well,” said Superintendent Robert Shaner, Ph.D.

Employees from across the district sported t-shirts with the new logo during a kick-off ceremony for the 2017-18 school year.

The Rochester Community School District plans to introduce the logo gradually. “Moving forward, we plan to update the logo across the district in the most cost effective manner possible. Electronic informational material and sites will be the first to receive the new design since many of these can be altered at little to no cost. Other items, such as hard copy brochures and business cards, will be updated as supplies dwindle,” said Community Relations Director Lori Grein.
