“We are thrilled to welcome Trina to the OUAA’s Board of Directors,” said Erin Sudrovech, Director of Alumni Engagement for Oakland University (OU). “She is an amazing and accomplished leader who will bring a fresh, thoughtful perspective to the important work our alumni board achieves for OU and our 118,000 alumni worldwide.”

Scott presented a keynote address during Oakland’s spring commencement ceremonies and was a featured speaker for the Alumni Association’s award-winning Leadership OU program, which connects upperclassmen students with alumni mentors and industry leaders.

Scott joined Quicken Loans in early 2017 as Vice President of Diversity and Inclusion. As the first leader in a dedicated diversity and inclusion role, she has developed and implemented the company’s diversity and inclusion strategy for 33,000 team members, spanning across eight business sectors for nearly 100 companies in four U.S. cities. In addition to building positive connections between the Rock Family of

Companies and local communities, she is committed to attracting and engaging top talent. She has used talent acquisition resources to create a pipeline of candidates and has developed a network of employee resource groups to cultivate talent. As a member of the senior leadership team at Quicken, she believes cultivating an inclusive culture and attracting diverse candidates are business priorities and bottom-line imperative.

Scott currently serves on the Midnight Golf Program advisory board and is a former board member of the Detroit Police Athletic League. She resides in Southfield, Michigan, with her husband (also an Oakland University alumnus) and daughter.
