On Wednesday, August 27, Rochester Alternative & Adult Center for Education (RACE) hosted their Grand Reopening with district employees and community members. This celebration was held to honor the physical move of the Adult Education programs that Rochester Community Schools offers to the community. 
These programs include: English as a Second Language, Adult Basic Education, GED, and High School Completion. The purpose of this move was to relocate to a updated facility that will benefit students in their learning environment. RACE, is now located at the Meadows building in the Avondale School District.
