Ray Nicholson, Jr passes away at 57 years old

Raymond Johns Nicholson, Jr.
August 29, 1955 – July 28, 2013
A lifetime resident of Rochester and Rochester Hills passed away and entered eternal life on Sunday, July 28, 2013. He was 57 and was born on August 29, 1955.

Ray graduated from Rochester Adams High School in 1973 and started his college education in south Florida. After returning to Rochester, Ray pursued his career in the auto detail and wash business opening and running three car washes in the Rochester area.
An avid car collector, Ray attended and participated in many car shows and Concours d’Elegance events around the world. Many have admired his world-class collection of cars and especially corvettes. Ray’s love for the General Motor’s 1963 Corvette Split Window is the heart of where his love for everything automotive began.
Much more than his extensive understanding of museum quality vehicles, however, the love of family and friends, and his big heart and generous spirit is what made Ray so special. He greatly enjoyed traveling with those he held dear. Generously supporting various organizations and charities through contributions and his time is just one of the ways Ray will never be forgotten. Ray will be dearly missed by his loving wife Kris of thirty years, their two sons Stephen and Will, daughter-in-law Laura, parents Raymond Johns Nicholson and Mary Elizabeth Carrick Nicholson his whole family who loved him very much, and dear friends old and new.
