RCOC Begins ‘Mill and Fill’ Work on Many Roads Throughout Oakland County

The Road Commission for Oakland County (RCOC) announced it will conduct heavy-maintenance projects on approximately seven miles of road throughout Oakland County beginning Tuesday, Aug.11.

Approximately 89 different locations on sections of roads that have been identified by engineering staff and recommendations from local communities as needing milling and resurfacing work. Since the work entails smaller sections of roadways, traffic will be minimally impacted and directed by flaggers.

Pavex Corporation of Trenton, MI is the prime contractor for the heavy-maintenance work, which is expected to conclude in November; weather and equipment dependent.

See the attached listings of the affected roads.
