RCOC, MDOT, Rochester Hills, and Rochester to jointly conduct press conference to discuss Rochester area road projects

Officials with the Road Commission for Oakland County (RCOC), the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT), the City of Rochester Hills and the City of Rochester will join forces Wednesday, June 27 at 10 a.m. for a joint press conference to discuss current and impending road and bridge projects in the Rochester area.

The event will take place at the gazebo at Veteran’s Memorial Park at the southeast corner of the intersection of Livernois and Avon roads in Rochester Hills. The officials will discuss the ongoing Avon Road bridge replacement project (just east of Livernois), the impending Livernois bridge replacement project (just south of Avon), the Main Street reconstruction project in downtown Rochester and the impending Crooks Road widening project (Star Batt Drive to north of Hamlin in Rochester Hills).

Among the speakers at the event will be RCOC Chairman Eric Wilson, RCOC Managing Director Dennis G. Kolar, Rochester Hills Mayor Bryan Barnett, Lori Swanson from MDOT and Rochester City Manager Jaymes Vettraino.
