Reconnect Your Mind, Body, and Spirit at the OPC

Restore your mind, body and spirit with a day of wellness at the Older Persons’ Commission (OPC) on Saturday, May 21. Beginning at 8:00am, Mind-Body-Spirit Day is a special community event featuring health and wellness activities such as tai chi, yoga, and breathing and relaxation techniques.

OPC will be offering four classes that highlight the way in which mind, body and spirit can come together as one. Each session will feature a different type of health and wellness activity which are as follows: Wu Style Tai Chi, Breathing and Relaxation Techniques, Slow Flow Yoga, and Basic Yoga. All participants are highly encouraged to pre-register for the event. Participants can sign up for any or all four of the sessions being offered, each session is $10. Participants who pay for three sessions will be eligible to attend the fourth session for free. All ages are welcome to attend and please bring a yoga mat, water and blanket.
