The Veterans Tribute of Oakland Township (VTOT) will hold a 20th Anniversary 9/11 event on Saturday, September 11, from 2:00 p.m. until dusk at the VTOT on 5236 North Adams Rd, Oakland Township, 48306. The event is outdoors, open to the public, will be family friendly, and attendance is free (donations are welcome).
The event will include guest speakers, remembrance of the lives lost on 9/11 and since, as well as a celebration of the American Spirit to maintain our freedom. Free live music throughout the event and patriotic singers will be performing throughout the day. Food and drinks will be available for purchase. Visitors may also order an honorary brick paver at the event and have it installed by Veterans Day in November.
