Kay Silkwood age 63 passed away on February 27, 2014. Loving mother of Gerald “Brent” Silkwood and David (Courtney) Silkwood. Dear grandmother of Haiden, Jacob, Ryan, Reagan, and Rianna Silkwood. Dearest sister of Kris (Dick) Brouwer, Gene (Mary Jane) Crystal, sister in law Mary Crystal, and the late Keith Kay enjoyed reading and was a big fan of the Detroit Tigers. Visitation will be held on Sunday at 10am until the time of service at 11am at Pixley Funeral home 322 W. University Dr. Rochester Rd., MI 48307.

Michael Freeman received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Western Michigan University in 1967. Mr. Freeman received his Juris Doctor Degree from Detroit College of Law at Michigan State University in 1972.
Michael’s law practice was devoted to the defense of product liability and medical malpractice litigation, along with suits arising out of construction site accidents. In 1978, Mr. Freeman was retained as counsel by a number of suppliers and manufacturer’s of asbestos insulation products to represent them in what was the first of thousands of asbestos exposure law suits filed in Michigan
Michael served as an arbitrator and mediator of personal injury matters. In his retirement, he served as an adjunct professor at Northwood University.
Mr. Freeman had a love of boating. He travelled the Great Lakes on his prode and joy, the “Irish Mist.” His love of hockey took him to Europe and all over North America.
Michael is survived by his loving wife, Gail. Adored Father of Christopher (Becky). Cherished gradfather to Sean, Shannon and Kelly. Brother of Thomas Freeman. Also survived by cousin Elizabeth Furton (Kenneth)
Visitation will be held in memory of Michael Loranger Freeman on Friday, March 7 from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the St. Mary of the Hills Catholic Church, located at 2675 John R Road, Rochester Hills, MI 48307.

Janet Lois Davis, age 79, of Waterford and formerly of Traverse City, passed away Friday, February 28, 2014. Beloved wife of Donald for 56 years. Mary Helen Bull

Mary H. Bull age 83, born on February 6, 1931 in Detroit, MI., passed away on March 1, 2014 in West Bloomfield, Michigan. Loving wife of Jack Bull for 60 years. Beloved mother of John (Terri Klochko) Bull Jr, Nancy (Aron) Lorenz, James (Denise) Bull, and Molly (Brady) Phillips. Cherished grandmother of Jared Phillips, Emmet Phillips, Madison Lorenz, Jean Klochko-Bull, Grace Klochko-Bull and John R. Bull III. Mary graduated from the University of Michigan at the age of 20 with a major in mathematics. She was a member of the Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority at U of M. Mary and Jack have been lifelong members of Pine Lake Country Club in Orchard Lake. Mary was a Life Member of the Women’s District Golf Association of Michigan where she had many close friends and friendly competitors. Mary was an accomplished athlete, enjoying tennis, swimming and skiing in addition to golf. She succeeded in passing this competitive spirit to all of her children and grandchildren. Mary often described herself as “…100 lbs. of fun!” Mary and Jack were avid travelers and were long-time members of the Nomads Travel Group and enjoyed trips all over the world. Mary was a member of Kirk in the Hills Presbyterian church where she taught Sunday school. She will be greatly missed by all.

Cordray, Ruth Carmen; age 74; of Rochester Hills; passed away March 3, 2014. A 1954 graduate of Waterford Twp. High School, her professional career was spent as an Office Manager for several car dealerships in the area. She also was an active member of the O.P.C. in Rochester. Daughter of the late Henry and Carmen Mendez; beloved sister of Penny (Jim) McMain, Michael Mendez, Pearl (Larry) Beard, and the late Ben Mendez. Visitation Wednesday 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Pixley Funeral Home, 322 W. University Drive in downtown Rochester. Burial will be private in Square Lake Cemetery in Orion Twp.

Also cherished by 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his siblings Jean Roetzel, Wilma Smith and Fred TerBush. Mr. TerBush was retired from General Motors Pontiac Motor Division and was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
