The Barton for County Clerk campaign announced today that Right to Life of Michigan endorsed her candidacy for Oakland County Clerk.
“I am honored to be endorsed by Right to Life of Michigan and proud to stand not only for the sanctity of life, but also as an advocate for ensuring that every child has the right to be loved and protected,” states Tina Barton, Rochester Hills City Clerk.
The mission of the Michigan Right to Life PAC is to endorse and support candidates for public office who have a proven commitment to the sanctity of human life and will be a strong and effective voice for the unborn.
Tina Barton is a conservative Republican candidate for Oakland County Clerk in the August primary and currently resides in Davisburg with her husband and two children. Tina is also a Board Member of Crossroads for Youth, a private non-profit treatment agency that serves at-risk children and youth ages 11-17 years.
Prior to her appointment as the City Clerk of Rochester Hills in 2013, Tina worked for the Charter Township of Bloomfield for 16 years, serving the last 8 years as Deputy Clerk. Barton holds the designation as Master Municipal Clerk by the International Institute of Municipal Clerks (IIMC) and Certified Michigan Municipal Clerk by the Michigan Association of Municipal Clerks (MAMC). She is a member of the IIMC, MAMC, and Oakland County Clerks Association, and is the past Director of Education for the Michigan Association of Municipal Clerks, and was recently awarded City Clerk of the Year Award by the Michigan Association of Municipal Clerks.
