Rochester Area Jaycees Host Second Annual 5K Fun Run

5k Fun Run to Be Held in the Rochester Municipal Park on Sunday, August 20, to Raise Funds For Special Needs Playground in Rochester

The Rochester Area Jaycees will present the Chief Financial Credit Union Rally for Rochester 5K Fun Run in the Rochester Municipal Park on Sunday, August 20. All proceeds from the race will go to the development of a playground – safe and accessible – for children with special needs.

The Second Annual Rally for Rochester 5K provides runners an opportunity to enjoy the beauty of the Rochester Municipal Park and help local families in our community.

Check-in begins at 8:15 am with a race start time of 9:00 am. The start/finish line is near the Kiwanis Pavilion across the bridge from the police station on 6th Street.

Whether or not you participate in the race, you can always support the development of the playground by donating directly to the project.
