“It’s always a great day to be a Falcon” at Rochester High School. This year, the Falcons are celebrating their Falcon pride with a festive event to support future success on the Falcon fields.
The accomplishments of the Falcons this year are many and include the 2014 Boys Tennis OAA Championship and State Qualifiers. Senior Nick Ang was named to the Boys’ Tennis All-State team; Competitive Cheer recently won the District Championship; and seven student-athletes signed letters of intent to play college athletics.
The Rochester Athletic Boosters are excited to celebrate these and many more successes at their 2nd Annual Friends of the Falcons Gala, on Saturday, March 14 at 7 p.m. at the Twin Lakes Golf and Tennis Club.
The press release went on to say that this evening event will include a strolling dinner reception, cash bar, silent and live auctions, raffles, and music. Funds raised at this event will benefit the Rochester High School Athletic Boosters, potentially impacting every Falcon program and athlete.
The auction will feature such exciting, yet diverse, items as a long weekend in a cabin in Grayling, Michigan, Hot-Air Balloon rides, $1000 in orthodontia services by Tyler, Dumas and Reyes, Premium Graduation Packages, and several one-of-a-kind sports memorabilia items.
The Falcons invite and encourage members of the community to join them for a fun-filled evening for the parents, staff and friends of Rochester High School. The dress code for this event is “snappy casual.” Registration forms and information packets are available on the Rochester H.S. athletics webpage at http://www.rochester.k12.mi.us/rochester-high-school/pages/6305/athletics.
Members of the community who are interested in supporting this event and the Rochester Falcon athletes are invited to attend the event, donate items to the raffle and auctions or purchase a table or sponsorship level. All donations are tax deductible to the extent of the law. For more information, contact the Friends of the Falcons Gala event coordinator, Sally Anglim, 248-420-5276 or anglim7@gmail.com.
