Rochester Christian University Presents ‘Electra’

Rochester Christian University presents Electra, an ancient story of revenge written by Sophocles, adapted by Frank McGuinness, and directed by Robert Arbaugh, MFA.

In an ancient story of revenge, bloodshed, and a family torn apart, Electra mourns the death of her father, the murdered general Agamemnon, and spends her days obsessively longing for the return of her long-lost brother, Orestes. Only once the two are reunited can they enact their revenge upon the one who orchestrated the murder — their own mother! Join us for Sophocles’ take on this infamous story of vengeance, adapted by Frank McGuinness.
