Rochester College’s theatre department will present “Outside Mullingar,” written by John Patrick Shanly and directed by Dr. David Keller.

Outside Mullingar presented by Rochester College Theatre Department
The author of Doubt and Moonstruck revisits his Irish heritage through the story of middle-aged farmers Rosemary Muldoon and Anthony Reilly, whose only inheritances are the stone walls of a resistant Irish earth, a painful jilting, a personal grudge, and a long-standing property dispute. Is it ever too late to find happiness and love? Can they find the resilience to risk the promptings of their hearts to find a life together “Outside Mullingar”?
Evening performances of “Outside Mullingar” will be Thursday-Sunday, February 11-13 at 7:30 p.m. while a matinee performance will be Sunday, February 14 at 2:00 p.m. All productions take place in the theatre on the campus of Rochester College at 800 W. Avon Road, Rochester Hills, MI 48307. Tickets are $5 for students and $10 in advance ($12 at the door). Purchase or reserve tickets.
