Rochester Community Concert Band presents ‘Symphonic Sounds’

The Rochester Community Concert Band will present their “Symphonic Sounds” concert on Tuesday, March 3, at 7:30 p.m. in the Stoney Creek High School Auditorium. The concert is open to the public and admission is free, but donations are gratefully accepted. The music of Brahms, Mozart, Williams, Hanson, Respighi, Rodgers and Hammerstein, Thomas, and Menken among others will be performed.

The Rochester Community Concert Band also welcomes organist Daniel Greig, from St. Mary of the Hills Catholic Church, guest conductor Mr. Matt Tignanelli, RCCB Euphonium Principal Player and Band Director in the Troy School District and the Grupi Gjergj Kastrioti Dance Group from St. Paul’s Albanian Catholic Church.

About Rochester Community Concert Band

The 70-member all-volunteer Rochester Community Concert Band is conducted by Paul F. DeRubeis and includes adult community members and advanced high school students from greater Rochester and Rochester Hills as well as students from Macomb Community College. The RCCB is a 501(c)(3) non-profit tax-exempt organization; donations are accepted and greatly appreciated.
