Rochester Community House Seeks Donations for Great Everything Sale

Rochester Community House announces the return of the annual Great Everything Sale on Friday, Jan. 27 and Saturday, Jan. 28. The Community House is in need of donations from the community to make one of the biggest rummage sales in Rochester a success. All donations are tax deductible and proceeds go directly into the general operating budget allowing the Rochester Community House to continue the programs that service the Rochester area community.

From classes and events to open space for affordable renting, and its Community Kitchen and Sunday Dinner, the Community House is a pivotal part of the community.
Clean house and donate clothes, housewares, books, toys, sports items, small appliances, antiques, household and more are needed. All donors will receive a tax-deductible receipt when they drop off items.

Those interested in participating can drop off donations starting on January 17 when a large semi-trailer dedicated to supplying the sale parks in the Community House parking lot. Please limit donations to Community House business hours. Hours are Monday through Friday from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Furniture pick-up is not available this year. Entertainment units, televisions and computers older than three years cannot be accepted.

The Great Everything Sale provides these used items for sale to the community while benefiting the Rochester Community House’s yearlong efforts to offer the community a place for meetings, nonprofit events and gatherings.

Great Everything Rummage Sale will be 9 a.m.-6 p.m. on Friday, (early bird at 8 a.m. for $5.00) and Saturday, 9 a.m. to noon. The Rochester Community House is a 501c3 nonprofit. For more information call 248-651-0622 or visit www.rochestercommhouse.org
