Rochester Community Schools Class of 2014 Graduates with Highest Honors

According to a press release, Rochester Community Schools Class of 2014 will hold its graduation ceremonies during the week of June 2, 2014 and all commencement ceremonies are held at the Ultimate Soccer Arena.

Rochester High School                  Tuesday, June 3

Adams High School                        Wednesday, June 4

Stoney Creek High School             Thursday, June 5

The Class of 2014, comprised of 1,272 students, is the first to graduate under the academic recognition adopted by the Board of Education in 2010.

The three designations are:

  • Scholars of Highest Distinction – Maintained a 3.9-4.0 GPA, took a minimum of four AP courses and received a 32 or higher on the ACT.
  • Scholars of Distinction – Maintained a 3.8 GPA, took a minimum of three AP courses and received a 28 or higher on the ACT.
  • Scholars of Achievement – Maintained a 3.5 GPA, took a minimum of two AP courses and received a 26 or higher on the ACT.

Adams High School has 21 Scholars of Highest Distinction, 34 Scholars of Distinction and 61 Scholars of Achievement.

Rochester High School has 15 Scholars of Highest Distinction, 31 Scholars of Distinction and 57 Scholars of Achievement.

Stoney Creek High School has 22 Scholars of Highest Distinction, 23 Scholars of Distinction and 74 Scholars of Achievement.

In total, students in the Class of 2014 were offered over $6 million in scholarships.
