The Rochester Downtown Development Authority (DDA) is proud to announce their latest initiative, the Downtown Business Recognition Program. The goal of the program is to recognize business owners, property owners, or individuals for outstanding contributions to the downtown community.

The first recipients were recognized at the October DDA Board Meeting. Recipients included Ryan & Pamela Walther, owners of Bizzy Buzz Artisan Market for their renovation of 409 Main Street; Frank Rewold & Sons for their 100th Anniversary; Jim Holland, on his retirement of Holland Floral & Gifts; and Ken Kania, owner of Rochester Hills Tire & Service on their 40th Anniversary.
Recipients were recognized by DDA Chairman Mark Albrecht and given a proclamation of commemorate the event. The DDA plans to continue the Downtown Business Recognition Program, with the next round of recipients at the December 12 DDA Regular Board Meeting.
