Join the Adventure This Summer with the Rochester Explorers Club
The Rochester Explorers Club is an opportunity for kids (and adults) of all ages to get out and explore all that our community has to offer. Complete as many kid-friendly activities as you like from July 13 to August 5. Whether you choose one activity or try to complete them all, the goal is to just have fun. Pick up your free Explorers Club Kit downtown during Sidewalk Sales, July 13-15 at the Rochester Downtown Development Authority (DDA) information booth at the corner of Fourth & Main Streets.
24 Days. 31 Activities. 1 Great Adventure
Here’s how it works. Select an activity. When you complete the activity, bring your Adventure Guide and proof that you completed the activity (photo, drawing, list etc.) to the sponsoring Explorer Station to receive your activity badge. There is a different badge for every activity – no two are alike. You can only complete each activity once – no double badges – there are a few bonus badges too. This year includes an amazing array of adventures, including making a sock puppet, cloud gazing and everything in between.
For the final adventure, come downtown to Movies in the Moonlight on Saturday, August 5 for the showing of Sing. Bring your Adventure Guide and your badges and you’ll receive an Explorers Club Goodie and your final Explorers Club Badge.
