Get ready for downtown Rochester’s very first live mannequin event—Rochester Posed—scheduled for Thursday, October 3. Participating downtown Rochester businesses will turn their storefront windows into live mannequin displays. This year’s theme for Rochester Posed is Norman Rockwell scenes.

Rochester Posed is something new and different for downtown Rochester,” said Stephanie Hellebuyck, Events Coordinator of the Rochester Downtown Development Authority. “It’s the perfect collaboration between a new-aged idea and something timeless and classic like the artwork of Norman Rockwell.”

Twenty-five businesses will participate in Rochester Posed. The event will run from 5:00 until 9:00 p.m. Live “mannequins” will pose perfectly still in the windows and storefronts of downtown businesses from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. In addition, participating businesses will offer in-store promotions from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. to encourage shopping and dining before and after the mannequin reveal.
