The forum will present four candidates competing for two 4-year seats in the City Council At-Large race. The candidates vying for an at-Large position are Jeff Duperon, Dale Hetrick, Theresa Mungioli, and Sharon Pizzuti. The forum will also present two candidates competing for one 4-year term in the City Council District 2 race. The candidates for this seat are David Blair and Khary Mason.

“We’re excited to present the candidates to the community and provide them a chance to share their platforms and answer questions,” states Event Coordinator Ann Edwards. “Having the opportunity to interact with those that hope to represent us is an essential piece of our political system.”

Members of the audience will have the opportunity to question the candidates and hear them discuss issues that are significant to all residents. This will assist all voters in casting informed votes.

“Rochester Hills is proud to partner with the League of Women Voters Oakland to make sure our community can participate in the democratic process,” states Mayor Bryan K. Barnett. “I would encourage all of our residents to watch on our cable or Youtube channel, and vote.”

Residents can watch the Candidates’ Forum at www.youtube.com/rochesterhillstv. The event will also air on the city’s cable channel every day (WOW channel 10, Comcast channel 20 and UVerse channel 99).
