Interested candidates shall be a registered elector in the City of Rochester Hills for one year, shall maintain residency during the term of office, and shall not be in default of payment of any tax, assessment or obligation owed to the City. The candidate selected to fill the vacancy shall serve until the next regular City election to be held in November 2019.
Interested candidates should submit the required application materials to the City Clerk’s Office by Monday, December 17, 2018 at 12:00 noon. Interviews will take place and attendance is required at the Special City Council Meeting to be held Monday, December 17, 2018 beginning at 7:00 p.m. Be prepared to give a brief, two-minute introduction at the December 17 Meeting. (Attendance may also be required at the January 7, 2019 Regular City Council Meeting.)
