Rochester Hills Hosts Design Open House

Residents Invited to Shape the Future of the Auburn Road Corridor

On Monday, October 10, the City of Rochester Hills will host a Design Open House for the Auburn Road Corridor. This open house builds upon the ideas that residents and businesses shared at a initial design open house in May. The Auburn Road Corridor is located on Auburn Road from Culbertson Avenue to Dequindre Rd through the Brooklands neighborhood.

“Engaging residents in the planning process allows our team to ensure that designs reflect the needs of our residents,” states Ed Anzek, Director of Planning. “With their input, we hope to narrow down our options and move forward.”

The open house design forum will take place on Monday, October 10 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Department of Public Services Building. The DPS Building is located at 511 E Auburn Rd, Rochester Hills, MI. Attendees can drop in at any time during the Open House.

As the city continues the design phase, citizen engagement becomes the highest priority,” states Mayor Bryan K. Barnett. “Our hope is that this location makes it easier for those that commute and live on Auburn Rd to engage with our design consultants and tell us their vision for the future.”
