The Rochester Hills Museum at Van Hoosen Farm will be hosting a tour of churches in the center of our community on Monday, October 28, 2013. Tour cost is $25 for Museum members and $30 for nonmembers and includes lunch. Registration and payment is available through the Museum website at www.rochesterhills.org/musprograms and must be done by Monday, October 21.
The tour begins at St. Mark’s Orthodox, then continues to Covenant Christian Church, Rochester Church of Christ (lunch) and finishes at St. Irenaeus Catholic Church. Please arrive at St. Mark’s Orthodox (400 W Hamlin—between Rochester and Livernois) at 9:00 a.m. The tour will conclude at St. Irenaeus at 3:00 p.m. Wear comfortable shoes and clothing respectful to a religious institution: No short shorts, short skirts, or bare shoulders. Walking and stairs will be present at each location.
