Rochester Hills Public Library Debuts New Website and Calendar

The Rochester Hills Public Library (RHPL) has officially launched a new website designed to better serve its patrons. Following months of research and consultation from an outside group, the new platform seeks to enhance the experience with RHPL’s downloadable resources and events.

“Our downloadable resources like Hoopla and now Kanopy have been a driving force behind traffic to our site. We responded to that data by making it even easier for users to access the resources they want, while keeping the website design simple and easy to navigate,” said IT Director Derek Brown. “It’s important our webpage reflect our patrons and their needs.”

RHPL’s homepage now includes more event information and the calendar page got an updated look but the functionality remains largely the same.

“The Rochester Hills Public Library’s IT team worked hand-in-hand with our librarians through every step of the process-from layout to calendar provider, to make sure our new web presence strongly conveys our mission and reinforces what makes us special,” said Director Christine Lind Hage.
