Small Business Support and Family Fun
With dine-in service currently limited, the City of Rochester Hills is encouraging people to support local businesses by playing Rochester Hills Restaurant Bingo. This creative approach aims to highlight businesses that have remained opened during the pandemic and boost delivery and takeout through the community.
Click, download, and print the Bingo Cards or call 248-656-4664 to have them sent out.
There are four cards, each representing a district of our city. Pick any card, visit a restaurant in one of the squares on the card, spend a minimum of $10, and check off the restaurants either vertically, horizontally, or diagonally to get a Bingo.
“Initial responses have been overwhelmingly positive,” said Council President Ryan Deel. “You get to support local business, eat great food, and win prizes, what’s not to like?”
Once a Bingo is made, submit mailing address, a picture of the winning bingo card, and the restaurant receipts to the Mayor’s Office at mayorsoffice@rochesterhills.org. Every household that completes a bingo will receive a $10.00 gift card in the mail.
There are a variety of outstanding gift cards to choose from generously donated by Council President Ryan Deel, Vice President Susan Bowyer, and Councilman Dale Hetrick. Supporting local businesses has been a top priority of City Council and bingo is one of the many ways they hope to help Rochester Hills recover.
“It’s a great way to get your family together and help our community recover,” states Mayor Bryan K. Barnett. “Our local restaurants are some of the hardest hit businesses and we have to support them through this trying time. I am so grateful for the city council members who took it upon themselves to make this happen.”
The contest ends once the gift cards run out.
