City of Rochester Hills – Death Investigation – February 9, 2016
Deputies and The City of Rochester Hills Fire Department responded to the 2600 block of Longview Ave on a report of a deceased person. The caller stated that he had returned home from the bank and discovered his wife lying in bed with an apparent gunshot wound to the chest. The City of Rochester Hills Fire Department provided telemetry to Crittenton Hospital where a physician pronounced the subject deceased.
Oakland County Sheriff’s Department
Detectives and an Investigator from the Medical Examiner’s Office responded to the scene to assist in the investigation. The Medical Examiner’s Office took custody of the deceased. An autopsy has been scheduled. The incident remains under investigation.
A 66 year old female, resident of the City of Rochester Hills, is the deceased.
