Mary Mbiya, 2017 Chair of the Rochester Regional Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and Vice President, Senior Branch Manager at Flagstar Bank announced at the Rochester Community Outlook Breakfast Press Conference that the search for the new President of the Chamber was over. Alaina Campbell was introduced as the new President.

A chamber veteran, Alaina previously served the Orion Area Chamber of Commerce as the Executive Director for six years. As the Orion Chamber’s Executive Director, Alaina implemented many new projects and events, including events like the Healthy Body, Healthy Mind Expo. She also doubled membership through implementation of value-added events and programs, consistent communication, and relationship building.
Alaina was highly valued by her Orion Chamber members. Allan Nahajewski was quoted as saying, “Her heartfelt welcome of all members, her upbeat nature, energy, and genuine enthusiasm are irresistibly contagious.” Kellie McDonald, owner of The Goddard School and member of the Orion Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors said, “Alaina has an uncanny ability to build relationships. She has the ability to bring together resources, both financial and staff, to move an organization forward.”
Prior to arriving at the Rochester Regional Chamber of Commerce, Alaina was the Director of Business Development for the Legacy Center and Urban Air Trampoline Park in Oxford, Michigan.

Alaina is an Eastern Michigan graduate with a B.S. in Political Science and a Program Planning and Proposal Writing Certificate from the Grantsmanship Center.
Alaina is going to make a wonderful addition to the Rochester Regional Chamber of Commerce family. Her first day on the job was Monday, March 6.
The Mission of the Rochester Regional Chamber of Commerce is to provide leadership and resources in order to advance business and community development in partnership with civic, cultural, and educational interests for the benefit of its members and the community.
