Rochester Rotary and Kiwanis Host Kentucky Derby Party to Benefit Neighborhood House

On Saturday, May 4, from 5:00-9:00 p.m., the Rochester Rotary and Rochester Kiwanis will be throwing a Kentucky Derby themed party and fundraiser on behalf of Neighborhood House, hosted at the Chapman House.

Get ready for a fun evening of dancing, raffles, and more; with special musical guests The Jello Shots performing. A 50/50 Raffle and a Chance Auction will also be taking place, as well as a hat contest for ladies, and a bowtie and blazer contest for the gentlemen. Guests will be able to watch the Kentucky Derby on TV, and weather permitting, they can enjoy a game of Pétanque (French lawn bowling) outside.

Rochester Rotary and Kiwanis Host Kentucky Derby Party to Benefit Neighborhood House

Tickets cost $75, and include a strolling dinner, beer, and wine. There will also be two private rooms available for larger groups. One room that seats 14 people at $1,750 for the evening, and a ten person room for $1,250. The event is limited to 175 people, so be sure to buy your tickets soon.

Neighborhood House has been dedicated to helping the community since 1968. Through their many community services, such as the food pantry, clothes closet, counseling, financial assistance, transportation, and more, they’ve provided services to over 3,000 households per year. All proceeds from the Derby Day Party will directly benefit Neighborhood House and aide in their mission of neighbors helping neighbors.

The Derby Day Party will be taking place at Chapman House, located at 311 Walnut Blvd. on May 4 from 5:00-9:00 p.m. The event is hosted by Rochester Rotary and Rochester Kiwanis, so be sure to buy your tickets soon and join us for a night of Kentucky Derby-inspired fun.
