Rochester Stalking Suspect Jumps to His Death

On April 4, Rochester police responded to a report made by a woman in the 1600 block of Chase Drive that a man was cutting wires that lead into her home.

After calling the police, the woman confronted the 56-year-old Ferndale man; he drove off and eventually ended up at a local motel in Madison Heights where he jumped to his death out of a third-story window.

According to the police, the man was the subject of prior stalking complaints and should not have been at the woman’s house because of a personal protection order.
