Rochester University’s Music, Theatre & Dance Department presents Shakespeare’s Love’s Labor’s Lost, directed by Robert Arbaugh, MFA.
Self-denial is in fashion at the court of Navarre where the young King and three of his courtiers solemnly forswear all pleasures in favor of serious study. But the Princess of France and her all-too-lovely entourage have other ideas and it isn’t long before young love, with its glad eyes, hesitations, and embarrassments has broken every self-imposed rule of the all-male ‘academe.’
Evening performances of Love’s Labor’s Lost will be April 21-23 and April 28-30 at 7:30 p.m., while matinee performances will be April 24 and May 1 at 2:30 p.m. All performances will take place on the campus of Rochester University at 800 W. Avon Road, Rochester Hills, MI 48307. Tickets are $5 for students and $13 in advance ($16 at the door) for adults. To purchase tickets online, visit www.Rochesteru.edu/ru-theatre-music-dance/.
