Prom Dress Giveaway
Teens, get your free prom dress, along with shoes, purses, jewelry, and shawls to create the perfect look. Rochester Outreach and Charity for Kids (ROCKit) will hold the 3rd annual ROCK the PROM free dress giveaway on Saturday, March 24 (noon – 3:00 p.m.) & Sunday and March 25 (noon – 2:00 p.m.) at the Auburn Hills Community Center.
Prom Dress Giveaway
Over 800 long gowns sizes 0-22 will be available. Those seeking a dress can “make an appointment” and go to the front of the line by calling 248-710-8002 and leaving a name and phone number. Raffle prize drawings will be held among the names of teens who call ahead. It’s possible to win a free manicure or a certificate to The Lash Lounge or more before you even choose a dress.
High School students will be asked to show their High School ID upon check in. Gowns will be displayed by size and color and include many designer brands. Assistance will be provided to help choose a gown and two accessories. A seamstress will be onsite to help provide basic shoulder and hem alterations for the perfect fit.
