The Community Scholarship Program will recognize over 40 scholarship recipients from Adams, Rochester, Stoney Creek and ACE High Schools at an award presentation and reception on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 in the Stoney Creek High School Auditorium starting at 6:30 p.m.
The Community Scholarship Program is a joint effort of the Rochester Community Schools Foundation, the Community Foundation of Greater Rochester, the Rochester Rotary and the Kiwanis Club, which provides an opportunity for students to apply for multiple scholarships with one application. Recipients are chosen by individual donors, organizations or by the Scholarship committees of the RCS Foundation and Community Foundation. Students receive scholarship awards ranging from $500 to $3000 for a total of more than $50,000. Donations for scholarships come primarily from community members and organizations that wish to honor the academic, athletic and artistic talents of the students of reside in the greater Rochester area.
