“Seussical” comes to Rochester College

“I meant what I said and I said what I meant.

A person’s a person, no matter how small!”

Rochester College’s theatre department will present Seussical, a fantastical, magical, musical extravaganza over two weekends in November.

One of the most performed shows in America, Seussical, by Stephen Flaherty, Lynn Ahrens and Eric Idle, brings to life everyone’s favorite Dr. Seuss characters, including Horton the Elephant, the Cat in the Hat, Gertrude McFuzz, Lazy Mayzie, and Jojo, a little boy with a big imagination. “Oh, the Thinks You Can Think” captures the show’s spirit of imagination as the colorful characters transport audiences from the Jungle of Nool to the Circus McGurkus to the invisible world of the Whos.

Performances of Seussical will be Thursday through Saturday, Nov. 8-10, at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 10, at 2 p.m., Friday and Saturday, Nov. 16-17, at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, Nov. 18 at 2 p.m. All productions take place in the Rochester College Theatre on the campus of Rochester College, 800 W. Avon Road, Rochester Hills, MI 48307.

Tickets are $10. To reserve tickets online, go to tinyurl.com/8ekj63f. For tickets, group sales, or more information, call (248) 218-2149 or e-mail theatre@rc.edu.
