Come shop Rochester’s Community resale event on Saturday, June 15! Over 50 businesses, residents and crafters will sell their new and used merchandise from 9:00a.m. until 1:00 p.m. in the Farmers’ Market Upper Lot in downtown Rochester.
“This year, you won’t just find items for resale,” said Stephanie Hellebuyck, Rochester Downtown Development Authority Events Coordinator. “We’ve added handmade crafters to the list of those who can participate. Between area residents, downtown Rochester businesses and crafters, there is sure to be an array of resale, new and handmade products.”
What will be for sale? Almost everything! Shoppers can expect residents to have resale items such as furniture, antiques, collectibles, dishes, glassware, and accessories. Handmade crafts include jewelry, wreaths, art work, garden decor and more.
Kids can also have fun at Junk in the Trunk. An art activity using recycled materials will be available as well as a Kids-2-Kids Sale. The Kids-2-Kids Sale will allow children to bring a few items such as toys, games, and electronics to sell or trade directly to other kids. There is no fee for the Kids-2-Kids Sale, but pre-registration is required and space is limited. To sign up, please call 248.656.0060.
The Rochester Farmers’ Market will also be held at its usual time and place on Saturday, June 15, from 8:00am – 1:00pm. The Farmers’ Market is located at the corner of E. Third & Water, in the lower level parking lot. Activities at the Farmers’ Market on the 15th include music with Ms. Carissa. For more information, call 248.656.0060 or visit DowntownRochesterMI.com.
