“We are really excited to host Junk in the Trunk once again this summer” said Jenna O’Dell, Rochester Downtown Development Authority Events Coordinator. “We have already received a handful of applications from Rochester area residents, crafters and Downtown Rochester businesses who are also looking forward to the event. Between area residents, Downtown Rochester businesses and crafters, there is sure to be an array of resale, new and handmade products.”

Rochester businesses, area residents, and handmade crafters are welcome to sell at Junk in the Trunk. Parking spaces will be sold on a first-come, first-serve basis, with a two space maximum. The price for one space is $35, and two spaces is $50. Online Registration Forms available. Payment must accompany your registration form. The deadline to register is Friday, August 9.

All registrants will be responsible for additional needs such as tables, chairs, petty cash, etc. When choosing items for resale it’s important to think antique and vintage, not old and used. Popular items for resale are furniture, antiques, collectibles, dishes and glassware and accessories.

Other upcoming downtown Rochester events include the Downtown Rochester Farmers’ Market, every Saturday morning through October 27; Front Porch Stories, Thursdays, August 22 and September 12; Farm to Table Dinner, September 22; and Rochester Posed, October 4.
