Due to the forecasted winter storm, Mayor Barnett has issued a snow emergency for the City of Rochester Hills effective, Friday, February 9, 2018, at 8:30 am until further notice. Due to the snow emergency, there will be no parking on city streets starting at 8:30 a.m. until further notice.
All residents are asked to remove their vehicles from all city streets to allow the plows to clear the snow safely and efficiently. Vehicles parked in the roadway could be ticketed or towed at the owner’s expense.
Anyone who does not have to travel is asked to stay off of the roadways during the storm and subsequent snow removal operations. The public’s cooperation as we deal with this winter storm is greatly appreciated.
During this time, please assist your fellow neighbors and check in on the elderly and disabled. Thank you for being patient as crews continue to work in tough conditions to clear roads. If you have to drive, please allow for extra time and travel safely.
