Ever wanted to try snowshoeing, but didn’t know where to start?
Attend the Bloomer Park Snowshoeing 101 event – an adventure for beginners interested in this winter hobby. Guests will learn the basics of snowshoeing, a little about the history, and what shoes might be best for you before venturing out into the park. Snowshoes will be available for use or attendees can bring their own.
This is an introductory skill level for ages 12 and up. The cost is $5.00 per person and runs on Saturday, January 6, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. Meet at the Bloomer Park Stone Shelter. Registration deadline is Wednesday, January 3.
