Some Food for Thought: A Reading Group Appreciation Night

Do you participate in a book discussion group? Would you like to network with other area book groups to exchange ideas, share reading lists and enjoy good fellowship? Librarians from the Rochester Hills Public Library will be sharing helpful resources and hosting a question and answer session for local book club members on Thursday, August 25 at 7:00p.m., in the library’s Multipurpose room.

“Our last book club event was held several years ago and we’ve had many requests to hold another event. We felt that offering this forum again would be a great way for book clubs around the city to network and share ideas,” says Michelle Wisniewski, Outreach and Bookmobile Services Manager.

Attendees of the event will enjoy refreshments and giveaways throughout the evening and get great ideas from members of other Rochester area book clubs. Participants are encouraged to share book club reading lists by e-mailing them to michelle.wisniewski@rhpl.org prior to August 20. A compiled book list will be handed out at the event.
