Yates Cider Mill Announces Spring Cider Pressing Opening Day
Yates Cider Mill is kicking off its Spring and Summer seasons on Friday, April 13, doors will open at 7:00 a.m.
The first apples will arrive from winter cold storage next week and Yates will be pressing throughout the day on April 13. Cider will be available for purchase that day as well. Yates Cider Mill will once again be offering its famous donuts, cider, fudge and bakery favorites along with its summer ice cream features including Yates famous donut sundae, as well as its featured frozen custard sundaes, hand-dipped ice cream, malts, shakes and more.
With a history that dates back to 1863, Yates Cider Mill is a Pure Michigan tradition. Crisp, cold cider and always-fresh donuts have become a staple treat for Metro Detroit families coming each fall, and throughout the year. Tucked along the Clinton River, Yates has been water-powered since its inception and continues to press cider with the same tradition and attention to detail established by the first Yates generation, years ago.
Yates Cider Mill is located at 1990 East Avon Road in Rochester Hills. Yates Ice Cream Shop hours are Monday-Saturday from 11:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. and Sunday from 1:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. Cider Mill hours are Monday-Friday from 8:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. and Saturday-Sunday from 9:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.
